George S. Catlin

Biography

George S. Catlin was born in 1808 and came of age during the early nineteenth century, a time of westward expansion and cultural development in America. His life reflected the spirit of his generation.

Interred at Windham Center Cemetery, Catlin's life concluded in 1851. His memory is preserved in the cemetery that marks the final resting place of many who shaped their local community.
