George W. Taylor was a lifelong Chicagoan whose steady hand helped sustain the city’s commercial districts and civic organizations during times of great change.

He was cherished for his thoughtful leadership and for the warmth with which he encouraged neighbors, and he is remembered fondly at Graceland Cemetery.
