Biography

George W. Trendle left a lasting imprint on American entertainment as the producer who helped launch radio heroes such as The Lone Ranger and The Green Hornet, shepherding these franchises from the airways into books, film, and merchandising.

He is interred at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx, and the courage-filled stories he commissioned continue to inspire new generations of listeners and viewers.
