Biography

Géza Káplány was a Hungarian librarian who devoted his professional life to the preservation and organization of knowledge. Born in 1880, he worked to maintain and expand library collections, serving as a custodian of cultural and intellectual heritage.

Káplány's career in library science reflected his commitment to making information accessible to the public. He was laid to rest at Fiume Road Graveyard, where his memory is preserved among other notable figures of Hungarian cultural life. He passed away in 1952.
