Gouverneur Ogden

Biography

Gouverneur Ogden was born in 1778 and died in 1851, living seventy-three years through the founding and early development of the American republic. His long life allowed him to witness the nation's growth and transformation.

He was laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery, where he remains remembered as part of his community's heritage.
