György Kolosy

Biography

György Kolosy (1824–1850) was a Hungarian military officer whose service reflected the turbulent political and military circumstances of mid-19th-century Central Europe. His brief life coincided with a period of significant upheaval and transformation in Hungarian and European affairs.

Kolosy's military career, though cut short, represented the dedication of Hungarian officers to their nation during a critical historical moment. He was buried at the Fiume Road Graveyard, honored among the many notable figures of Hungarian society who found their final rest there.
