Biography

Halcourt Horton Hutton was cherished by his family and friends for an inquisitive mind and a quick, generous laugh; even in his short life he offered encouragement to classmates and shared the simple joys of home. His youthful energy brightened every room he entered, and he seemed destined for a lifetime of study and service.

His promise was cut short in 1920, but those who knew him remember his gentle optimism and the tenderness he showed to others; he is laid to rest at Moravian Cemetery.
