Biography

Harry Streett Baldwin spent his early life in rural Maryland, working as a farmer before taking a path into politics. In the 1940s he was elected to the United States House of Representatives, where he represented Maryland's second district and served on committees that shaped wartime agricultural and transportation policy for the entire nation.

After leaving Congress he returned to the Phoenix area, staying engaged in civic dialogue and remaining a familiar advocate for the families who had supported him.
