Henry Darling Coffinberry (1841–1912) helped shape Cleveland’s maritime heritage through innovation and a deep understanding of the Great Lakes economy.

He was also known for his generous civic engagement, often rallying support for the institutions that gave Lake View community members a stronger sense of belonging.
