Henry Detwiller

Biography

Henry Detwiller, born in 1795, was a lifelong Easton resident whose family roots grew deep in the town that is now remembered alongside his grave at Easton Cemetery. His longevity allowed him to witness the young republic's earliest trials and the arrival of railroads and industry.

He is recalled as a faithful neighbor who helped sustain local traditions through years of change, leaving behind a memory of quiet strength cherished by the community.
