Biography

Born in 1938, Henry Fambrough found his voice in the church choirs of Detroit before joining the soul group The Spinners as one of its founding members, lending his steady baritone to classics such as I'll Be Around and Could It Be I'm Falling in Love.

Over six decades he remained the heart of The Spinners, touring with fellow members, mentoring younger singers, and carrying the group's legacy into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame while quietly supporting civic music education.
