Biography

Henry G. Davis, born in 1823, lived through sweeping changes and met each new challenge with quiet patience and steadfast resolve. He championed steady progress, always mindful of how his decisions might ease the path for future generations.

When he passed in 1916, his community remembered him for his calm judgment and deep sense of duty, and he now rests at Maplewood Cemetery.
