Henry Lee

Biography

Henry Lee was born in 1817 and spent his life in the Walnut Hills neighborhood of Providence, where he was treasured for being reliable and industrious even as the city embraced new industries and civic improvements. Neighbors knew him as a person who cherished quiet fellowship and took pride in the ordinary responsibilities of home and kin.

He passed away in 1898 and was laid to rest at Walnut Hills Cemetery, where friends still speak of his steady and attentive character that brightened their daily paths.
