Henry Lillie Pierce

Biography

Henry Lillie Pierce brought his experience as a businessman to the halls of the United States House of Representatives, where he represented Massachusetts for more than a decade and advocated for the commercial and industrial interests of the Commonwealth.

He continued to mentor younger citizens and support local improvements until illness took him, and Dorchester North Burying Ground now holds the place where so many loved ones pause to remember him.
