Henry Metcalfe

Biography

Henry Metcalfe, born in 1847, combined technical skill and administrative acumen to advance the engineering and logistical efforts of the military.

He is remembered at West Point Cemetery for guiding complex military projects and for the disciplined approach he brought to every task until his death in 1927.
