Henry Newberry

Biography

Henry Newberry was born in 1783 and lived through the formative years of the American republic. His seventy-one years spanned from the Revolutionary period through the early nineteenth century, a time of considerable social and economic transformation.

Newberry was laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery in 1854, where his memory is preserved. His life reflected the experiences of Americans who witnessed the nation's establishment and early development.
