Biography
Henry Waters Taft (1859-1945) practiced law with distinguished care, championing fair business practice, advising municipal reforms, and writing clearly for both colleagues and the public while remaining an eloquent presence in bar associations at home and abroad, a legacy he shared with his brother President William Howard Taft.
