Henry Woodcock

Biography

Henry Woodcock was a treasurer who served in an administrative capacity during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Born in 1770, he held financial responsibilities that contributed to the management of Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford, one of England's most prestigious ecclesiastical institutions.

Woodcock's career in financial administration extended until his death in 1840. His service to Christ Church Cathedral reflected his competence and trustworthiness in matters of institutional stewardship, and he was ultimately interred at the cathedral he served.
