Biography
Hillel Yaffe, born in 1864, devoted his medical talents to the growing settlements of the Yishuv and became a reassuring presence in Zichron Yaakov at a time when modern health care was just beginning to take root.
He remained committed to the welfare of the community throughout his life, establishing clinics, mentoring younger doctors, and offering compassionate care to all who sought his help until his passing in 1936.
