Biography
Howard Baugh (1920-2008) soared as one of the Tuskegee Airmen, flying combat missions while breaking barriers for African Americans in the U.S. Army Air Forces. His courage in the skies and his insistence on excellence at every turn helped reshape perceptions of what black aviators could achieve.
When he passed, the nation honored his legacy with interment at Arlington National Cemetery, where visitors can remember the skill and perseverance he brought to service.
