Biography
Robert Francis Kennedy served as United States Senator from New York and as Attorney General under his brother President John F. Kennedy. A prominent figure in the Civil Rights Movement and an advocate for social justice, he was known for his passionate commitment to helping the disadvantaged and marginalized.
In 1968, while campaigning for the presidency, Robert Kennedy was assassinated in Los Angeles on June 5, 1968. He was buried at Arlington National Cemetery near his brother, leaving behind a legacy of idealism and dedication to public service.
