Biography

Imre Czeglédi stepped into the classrooms of Gyula with a steady voice and a belief that each child deserved patience and direction, weaving lessons from literature and life into every school day.

He retired after more than forty years of service yet continued to cheer on alumni and neighbours, and his calm presence is still felt in the hallways he once filled; he passed away in 2023 at the age of 94.
