Isaac Benjamin S. E. Yahuda was a bookseller, collector, and scholar who preserved manuscripts and rare texts that testified to the shared intellectual heritage of Jews, Arabs, and others of the region. Yahuda generously supported research, donated manuscripts, and helped shape an atmosphere of curiosity and respect that continued to inspire preservation and study even after his passing in 1941.
