Biography
Isaac S. Catlin answered the call to preserve the Union, rising through the ranks with calm judgment and courage and being recognized with the Medal of Honor for his conduct during the Civil War.
After the conflict he returned to civilian life as a lawyer, remaining devoted to his comrades, and he took pride in supporting veterans and their families, ultimately being laid to rest among them at Arlington.
