Isabel Bowman McKennan entered the world in 1843 and matured amid the aspirations of a growing Pittsburgh, contributing to family and social causes with grace and quiet strength. After her death in 1891 she was laid to rest in Allegheny Cemetery, where her steadfast devotion to family and friends remains a gentle testament to an era of close-knit bonds.
