Ivan Puliui (1845–1918) was a Ukrainian-born physicist, inventor, and writer whose scientific work on X-rays and his advocacy for education and culture earned him esteem across the Austro-Hungarian Empire and beyond.
He was laid to rest at Malvazinky Cemetery, where he is remembered for bridging science and humanity with equal passion.
