James Asher Richardson stood among the many citizens who answered their country’s call in the midst of conflict, upholding a steadfast character and a willing spirit on the field of service. His reliability and sense of duty endeared him to comrades and family alike.

When the guns fell silent he returned to a life of quiet labor and civic involvement, investing in the prosperity of his community and the well-being of its citizens; he is laid to rest at River View Cemetery, where his contributions are quietly remembered.
