James Duncan

Biography

James Duncan, born 1857, rose as a labor leader who believed that solidarity and fair wages could renew the dignity of working men and women across industries.

He encouraged respect between laborers and employers and now rests in Mount Wollaston Cemetery as those he guided remember his patient advocacy and his insistence on justice.
