James Harrison Carruth

Biography

James Harrison Carruth (1807–1896) lived through much of the nineteenth century and earned the respect of his neighbors by offering kindness and steady guidance in the Oak Hill area.

He lies at Oak Hill Cemetery, where his life is recalled with gratitude by those who knew him and by later generations who cherish the history of that place.
