James Lowry Donaldson

Biography

James Lowry Donaldson graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and devoted decades to service in the American army, including engineering work and leadership through the Mexican-American and Civil Wars.

Retiring with distinction, he remained a respected figure among comrades until his death in 1885, and he now rests quietly in Mount Auburn Cemetery.
