James M. Pendleton

Biography

James M. Pendleton trained as a lawyer and took Rhode Island voices to the halls of Congress, where he worked to ensure that his constituents' concerns were heard during a time of national reconstruction and growth.

After his service he returned home, remaining an attentive citizen whose steady presence is remembered at River Bend Cemetery and in the memory of those who admired his sense of duty.
