Politician, Artist

Biography

James Pollock balanced civic duty with creative pursuits, giving voice to local concerns while also capturing scenes of daily life through his art. A politician with a painter's eye, he sought to shape policy with a belief in the dignity of each person.

Though he died in 1890, his contributions linger in the galleries of Milton and in the records of civic debates, and Milton Cemetery holds his resting place with pride.
