Biography

James Watson Gerard, Jr. (1823–1900) was a businessman who experienced the bustling growth of New York’s trade and industry during the nineteenth century.

He was noted for his dependable manner and steady leadership, and after his death he was interred at Green-Wood Cemetery, where his memory is respectfully kept.
