Jan Zahradníček

Biography

Jan Zahradníček was a Czech individual whose life spanned much of the twentieth century, from the interwar period through the final years of the century. His lifetime encompassed the major historical transformations that defined modern Czech experience and national development.

Zahradníček passed away in 1995 and was interred in Vyšehrad Cemetery, Prague's most prestigious burial ground, where he rests among many notable figures of Czech cultural and intellectual life.
