Jane Whitin

Biography

Jane Whitin, born in 1834, upheld the Whitin legacy with a generous heart, giving her time to the families and youth of Pine Grove through school fairs, church suppers, and comforting visits during times of sorrow. She believed that community was built through shared meals, mutual encouragement, and the kind attention one neighbor shows another.
