Biography
Jaroslav Marvan was a notable Czech actor whose performances graced the stages and screens of twentieth-century Czechoslovakia. Born in 1901, he built a career in the dramatic arts, becoming a familiar presence in Czech theatrical and cinematic productions.
Marvan's acting career spanned much of the twentieth century, during which he contributed to the development of Czech drama and film. His artistic legacy was recognized through his burial in Vyšehrad cemetery, one of the nation's most honored burial grounds. He passed away in 1974.
