Jasper Hopper

Biography

Jasper Hopper was born in 1770 and lived through a century of frontier renewal; while the records do not preserve the exact trade he practiced, his hands and heart were no doubt joined with those who built the valley.

He rests in Onondaga Valley Cemetery, where those who pass by recall the quiet resilience of all who labored in those early decades.
