Jay H. Neff

Biography

Jay H. Neff (1854-1915) navigated the changing years of the late nineteenth century with good humor and a firm belief in the importance of community. He was a familiar face at Forest Hill and among acquaintances, always ready to lend practical help or share a thoughtful word.

Those who knew him remember his generosity toward neighbors and the care with which he supported civic life, a legacy now honored at Forest Hill Cemetery.
