Biography
John Bartram Jr. pursued his father’s passion for botany and natural history, collecting specimens and sharing knowledge about the natural world. His observations helped broaden the young nation’s curiosity about the plants and ecosystems that shaped daily life.
Though he was laid to rest at Darby Friends Burial Ground, his dedication to understanding nature continues to blossom in botanical studies today.
