John C. Villepigue

Biography

John C. Villepigue (1896–1919) embraced every opportunity to serve, returning from his endeavors with a calm sense of duty and a desire to strengthen the bonds of the Old Quaker community. Though his years were few, he poured his energy into helping his peers find common ground and steady footing in uncertain times.

When he passed in 1919, the respect he earned for modest leadership and quiet courage was woven into the very fabric of the cemetery grounds where he now rests.
