John Coyle White

Biography

John Coyle White served as a tireless advocate for agriculture and rural families during his tenure as Texas Agriculture Commissioner and in other statewide offices. He worked to expand markets, strengthen producers, and ensure that the voices of small towns were heard in Austin.

In retirement he continued to mentor new leaders, honoring the rural traditions of the state, and his place at the Texas State Cemetery stands as a testament to his lifelong devotion to Texas agriculture.
