Biography

John H. Inman (1844-1896) combined industrious energy with generous hospitality, always eager to lend a hand to worthy causes and the people he held dear. His determined character was matched by a softhearted sense of humor that could lighten the heaviest day.

Woodlawn Cemetery now shelters his remains, and the visitors who pause there honor the graciousness he offered so freely.
