Biography
John Mackenzie answered the call to duty during the early years of the war, bringing strength of character to the ranks as he served with the British Army in the difficult campaigns of 1914 and 1915.
He fell in the spring of 1915 and now rests at Guards Cemetery, Windy Corner, where his memory endures among comrades who shared the hardships of those first battles.
