John Mendenhall

Biography

John Mendenhall (1829–1892) spent his years in service to the ideals held dear by the nation’s military institutions, upholding honor with quiet determination. He exemplified the values of duty and responsibility that bind together the service community.

He finds his final rest at West Point Cemetery, surrounded by the fellow soldiers and comrades who shared his commitment to country.
