Biography

John Page was a young poet whose literary talents showed considerable promise during his brief life. Born in 1830, he began his literary career in the nineteenth century, contributing verses and poetic works to the literary culture of his time despite his youth.

Though his life was cut short in 1852 at the age of twenty-two, Page's work as a poet demonstrated the creative spirit and intellectual engagement of his generation. His memory is preserved through his literary contributions and his burial in the churchyard where he was laid to rest.
