John Parker Hawkins

Biography

John Parker Hawkins (1830–1914) held a place among those who nurtured their communities through decades of growth and change at the dawn of the twentieth century. Though records do not fully disclose his personal pursuits, the length of his life speaks to a spirit of perseverance and care.

He now rests within Crown Hill Cemetery, joining others whose individual contributions collectively shaped Indianapolis's history.
