Biography

John R. Warner (1826–1894) dedicated his life to the quiet work of community uplift, always attentive to the needs of neighbors and friends. His steady presence soothed those facing uncertainty and inspired others to stand together.

He valued education, family, and service, and he shared those values generously throughout his years in Los Angeles. His legacy rests now in Evergreen Cemetery beside fellow citizens he cherished.
