Biography
John T. Hodgen was born in 1826 and, through his life, bore witness to the evolution of a nation in flux. He died in 1882 and was interred at Bellefontaine Cemetery, where he rests among many of his contemporaries.
His memory remains with the community that knew him as a thoughtful presence, one who valued fidelity to family and a steady faithfulness to the duties entrusted to him.
