Biography
Josef Tyringr was a Czech figure of the early-to-mid twentieth century who lived from 1892 to 1957. He spent his life in Prague and became part of the cultural and social fabric of the city during a transformative period in Czech history.
Tyringr's life spanned some of the most significant events of the modern era, from the Austro-Hungarian Empire through the establishment of the Czechoslovak state and beyond. He was laid to rest at Olšany Cemetery, one of Prague's most prominent burial grounds, reflecting his place in Czech society.
