Josef Urban

Biography

Josef Urban (1887–1914) lived during a period of significant cultural and political change in Central Europe. His life was cut short during the opening years of World War I, a conflict that would reshape the continent's political landscape.

Urban was interred in Olšany Cemetery, Prague's historic burial ground, where he rests among many others whose lives were affected by the great upheavals of the early twentieth century.
